ABUS Crash Replacement
The ABUS helmet crash replacement program is designed to subsidise the cost of buying a replacement when an ABUS helmet has been damaged in a crash. The ABUS Helmet Crash Replacement Program is available to customers that are resident in the United Kingdom and purchased their helmet from a UK ABUS dealer.
A helmet that has been involved in an accident can be replaced at a reduced price (50% off Upgrade Bikes SRP) if it is no more than 2 years old. The replacement helmet will be the same size and model as the original or the nearest current equivalent if the original model is no longer available.
The customer must initially contact the Upgrade Bikes UK Warranty & Technical department by email to register your claim (abus@upgradebikes.co.uk), to get the damaged helmet back to Upgrade Bikes Ltd.
We will require the following information for the claim:
• Customers full name, address and daytime phone number.
• Information about the Crash / Accident.
• Proof of purchase for the original helmet.
• Model, size and colour of the original helmet.
• The damaged helmet.
Once the claim is opened, and the damaged helmet is returned at the customer’s cost, Upgrade Bikes UK will then make contact with the customer to process the replacement order, and to take payment via card/bank transfer/PayPal.
Shipping of the replacement helmet is at the customer’s expense.
Upon approval and payment, Upgrade Bikes Ltd will dispatch the replacement helmet directly to the customer via FedEx/Parcelforce.
